OK, at the risk of sounding really stupid here,I am US based, just a catfight and wrestling fan.This site is really pretty cool. I don't know when the actual show is happening and can't see it anyway. Things seem to have slowed down a bit, but I appreciate Dio and all the work that has gone into this. I think all f/f fans should try to get behind this effort and lets see what happens. I will try to do my part as best I can. Hopefully, it doesn't have to end with what might be a big flop.
Thanks for popping by. The show is currently being filmed between 14th to 24th February and is going to be broadcat in April. Whatever happens I'll do my utmost to get some screen shots of the show on this website even if I have to use my digital camera to take photos of the tv screen.
The website itself like the other website DIHQ is launched with the celebrity theme, this time the new show of Celebrity Wrestling. But hopefully like you indicate the forums will live on long after.
I'm working on creating a massive links page currently to encompass all fem vs. fem websites similar to Barb's impressive list. Also the sectioned forums here will provide a good platform for all facets of this interest as time goes by. The website design itself is I think very elementary and in many ways just a modified version of DIHQ minus the big bushy moustache. I will one day utilize the excellent web design software I have and get a 'proper' website up and running. But I'm quite happy with the forums so far.
I'll strive to keep the tone of these forums very open minded as I believe the best moderator is one that does not moderate; and due to the topics being split up it allows all the interesting off topic stuff to be kept separate from the even more interesting femfight stuff.
Celebrity Wrestling I think will be a sexy competitive show to watch for the glamourous women involved. It sounds like a Gladiators format but solely focussed on the 1 on 1 competitive fight theme which is better than nothing. Because of its prime time viewing slot it could never be full on straight wrestling between the girls, although that will happen I'm sure, but has to incorporate the 'games' theme for the family, as it is a family show.
Thank God the Brits have the balls to put on a show that everyone wants anyways. How many stinkin times do you hear on tv "The two actresses were involved in a catfight!" only to find out they meant with words or in the disillusioned minds of the media by the way they looked at each other. F-that. Do it for real and do it for money and ratings. Its about time real wrasslin sells out. Not the fake Legion ****e.
And as I've said if and when it does go over well then it will hit the states. Celebrity boxing ranked in the tops when it aired. Even the replays beat out some of the primetime shows. It originated in England not the States, but went over in both areas well.
Dio, hows the talk around town? Without you bringing it up has anyone mentioned this new disgusting show? :) This is the type of stuff I'd jump on and talk about just to get the general publics idea of it. Like when the miller lite commercial hit the airwaves I recall bringing the commercial up while browsing the beer isle to a few buddies. Next thing ya know everyone was talking about it. Even a fat old lady who thought it was an "entertaining way to sell booze."
And lastly Dio ... if your gonna do this site properly invest a mear 20-30 bucks to plug your vcr into your pc. That way you won't get lines or crappy images from shooting directly at the tele. If for some reason I read you wrong and you can plug in directly just give me another biatch slap. Theres some cheap hardware you can buy at your local pc shop and if you need advice I'll try and help. Christ, send me a tape of it and I'll make copies or get the Ripper man to do it. (I'll pay for postage...doubt he would:)
Now if I could only keep up with everything here. Like.... wheres the other promo pics? I did a little search and found nothing besides the one on the homepage where the chicks wearing a retard helmet wrasslin. Don't tell me they are going to be geared up like that!?!? That would be worse than the "linger..(I can't spell it) bowl. The commercial looked as if they'd be wearing only that. Not the God awful pads, helmets and mouth peices.

The show was in the news most days whilst it was being filmed which has now been completed. Expect more buzz around the show when it is actually broadcast at the end of April.
In general conversation, not that much attention really amongst people I know unless I introduce the topic.
Oh, I'm not getting one of those Legion video capture cards, I'm skint as it is. Plus the last time I opened my pc up some lizards attacked me with laser guns and pointed sticks!!!!
Recording it and sending you copies of the show would be possible if you wanted me to. Don't know how much that would cost though?
There are no official promo photos as yet. The only ones you'll really find are to be found here where I've knicked em from newspapers and magazines on behalf of you all. :)
Looks like they will be wearing protective headgear it seems.

I think the most realistic way that our American cousins will see the show is through a torrent. I wouldnt be surprised if one was put up on UK.Nova or the suchlike.
