Ok, so I'm at a clients work today and some dude comes in the room while I'm waiting. "Hey are you catholic?" he asks.
"Yeah, but don't tell anybody" I said
I don't think the guy got the "joke", but he mumbled on....
"They elected a new pope." he said with his eyes gleaming. At first I was going to clap my hands like a retard and shout yeeeeeeaaaah .... so what. But, figured it wouldn't be a great idea or look too good. So I just said "wonderful has he ever fondled a child before?"
Ok, I didn't say that. I asked WHO? Then he told me some German guy who now goes by the name of Benadick 16. All I could think of was Benadick Arnold.
Now come to find out the guys a friggin Nazi! How many people has this man killed? I see we even held him as a POW. I understand he was Pope JP's right hand man, but come on now. Don't you think they should have elected someone a bit more young .... happier looking? Good with the youth and not so riske' in the eyes of some? I wish the guy luck in the 6 or 7 years he's got left on this earth before they have to elect someone else. Isn't this guy like 90 yrs old? Why not just pick up dirt from the ground and stick a beany hat on it? It would be no different than the last dude that was in office.
Already its 50/50 on the news which by the way is now talking about that just as much as when PJP bought the farm. Sure I'm catholic, but for some reason this guy doesn't do it for me like PJP did. Maybe its the nazi thingy?
In reality I wish the new Pope luck and hopefully the catholic's can get their ****e together. I know others can help but to see it all over their tele's. Just felt like being a jerk and speaking about it/him.
Yeah, Benedict the XVI just isn't as catchy as John Paul II. JP had the names of two hip Beatles and a nice little even number on the end! Snazzy!

Gald I'm not Catholic. This dude's a ballbuster. It was bad enough that JP2 had the church stuck in about the 15th century, but now it looks like ole Bennie may slide things back a few centuries more!
